Miss Kati is pleased to have completed her first ten years as ballet instructor with Sandra Gray. Miss Kati graduated from the Hungarian Academy of Dance Arts in 1984 as a professional dance arts performer. She was a soloist and corps de ballet dancer in the Hungarian State Opera from 1984-1987.
After leaving Hungary, Miss Kati taught at the Scuola di Danza Suzanna Egri, Torino, Italy. She left there to dance and choreograph in her role as Assistant to the Artistic Director in the Theatre of Ulm, Germany.
Since arriving in Canada in 1992, Miss Kati has been an instructor, choreographer and examiner for the Russian Vaganova Dance Technique Society and ballet and stretch instructor for the Royal Glenora Club. Her primary focus has been as a ballet educator and choreographer, teaching ballet, pointe, modern dance and stretch technique.
This background gives Miss Kati a unique combination of teaching skills, and can be effectively used in dancer training. Her instruction helps students improve arm co-ordination, presentation, different styles of dancing, characterization, jumps, turns, lifts, strength, flexibility, and other elements essential to a professional or competitive career.
