Jill's career started at the tender age of 3 with her first dancing lesson at the Martin School of Dancing and Baton Twirling in Regina, Saskatchewan. She had extensive training in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Acrobatics and Baton Twirling. One of her many highlights was when her baton team captured the gold medal at the 1991 World Championships in Italy.
Jill has been teaching dance and baton for the past 13 years and she is looking forward to joining the outstanding staff at Sandra Gray School of Dancing. Through her years as a Provincial, National and International competitor she has learned the value of hard work, dedication and self-sacrifice. These are beliefs instilled in her by the coaches and teachers that have touched her life.
Jill hopes to pass on these life enhancing values as well as her passion and knowledge to the current and future generations of dancers. Eleanor Roosevelt once said: "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams".
